Steve is always honest and makes sure to explain everything. He doesn't take advantage of people like many of the shops do around town. If he can't fix a problem then he sends people to TRUSTWORTHY shops he knows will do him right with is Recommendation. I can't day enough about Big 6!!!

Great little shop and very reasonable hourly rates. My biggest problem with getting repairs is finding a place I trust that isn't going to try selling my services I don't need. Too many times in Anchorage have I had a shop try telling me that I needed something repaired asap, yet took it for a second opinion to find what they told me was completely false. Thus is the issue with the dealership shops who pay their employee's monthly bonuses based on revenue generated, the employees will always look out for their bottom line and not your best interest. Hence why I love this shop, they have always gave me perfect and honest advice while charging much less then the bigger shops. If you don't like getting ripped off, have them check out your car or truck the next time you need work done.

Great experience! Basically everything you could ask for in a local auto repair shop! Both my wife and I have brought our cars there and have had nothing but top tier service. Would recommend to anyone.

I’ve been going to Big 6 auto for the past 5 years and they’ve always taken great care of my car. Steve W. is the most honest, hardworking mechanic and makes you feel like family! Hands down the best place for all your automotive needs. This place takes pride in their work and deserves way more than 5 stars!!!! Thanks Big 6 for everything!!!

I love these guys. They take good care of you. They are honestly, hard working men who are passionate about the work they do. The work hard to try to accommodate their customers. If for some reason they are unable to (because they really do get busy), they give you the very next available time slot. They know and understand that people need their vehicles in a timely manner, and they work to get it back to you. What I also love about them is that they are reasonable people. The owner has a family and takes into consideration that we have families too. This is the only place I take my car for any type of repairs. They don't try to break the bank, and the repairs will be done right. A+++++

Went with Big 6 for the first time and they were impressive. Fair pricing, quality service, and prompt as well. Offered information about the condition of my vehicle beyond just the repair, and actually turned down changing the oil because I had plenty of clean oil left. Most other mechanics in town would of taken the job just for profit. These guys rock! Would recommend.

Love this place! My go to for oil change and any future issues with our vehicles. Great prices, and very honest people working on your car. You know they’re good, if they fix something and you don’t have issues for a long while, unless its oil change. Converting all my families to come here for oil change and minor services for vehicles. This was my first time coming here. The place I used to go regularly for oil changes tried to take advantage and charge me way too much for some basic maintenance on my car. I came here after reading the reviews and decided to get a couple fluids drained and replaced and I'm glad I did. They did all the work super quick. I ended up dropping my car off a little later than we had originally planned and was fully expecting to leave it over night if need be but they got the work done and we're super understanding. They also called and told me my brakes needed to be replaced. They didn't try to charge me an arm and a leg for it and it a reasonable price. I don't know why I haven't come here before. I will definitely be coming here from now on.

They were able to get me in immediately and fix up my car, along with providing extra services at no charge. They are quick, efficient, thorough, and very pleasant to work with! I will be recommending them to my friends and family for sure!!
